First and foremost, we are both handspinners who raise Pygora goats. Our goats receive the best care that we can provide, and they in turn provide us with a wonderfully luxurious fiber.
Since we are both accomplished handspinners, we understand the need to provide a high-quality spinning fiber. Our fiber has been commercially dehaired, then we personally hand-dye and card/blend artisan-style spinning batts and rovings for your spinning pleasure. We made a commitment very early on to sell only home-grown spinning fibers – fibers that our animals produce and fibers from local shepherds. We don’t sell imported fibers (silk being an exception….). Being “fiber farmers” ourselves, we can appreciate the hard work that goes into raising fleece-bearing animals. |

![]() | Terry is a spinner, dyer, knitter, and so-so weaver. She loves to play with color and all kinds of fiber. She is active in Northwest Regional Spinners Association (NwRSA) and demonstrates spinning and fiber techniques to local kids each year at the Cowlitz County Fair. She is also a member of the Pygora Breeders Association. While not a Pygora goat breeder, she has great interest in the Pygora goat and its fiber. She enjoys her tiny fiber herd of 6 Pygora wethers. | Susan is also a spinner, dyer and knitter. She has a great eye for color and is the animal husbandry expert of this team, often helping Terry with goat advice. Susan is a past President of the Pygora Breeders Association and a sanctioned PBA judge. Susan also belongs to NwRSA. Susan's herd of 30 Pygora goats keeps her very, very busy at home. She claims that taking care of a large goat herd is better that a gym membership, including all the physical benefits! | |
| We both work full-time jobs outside the home. Neither job is glamorous and we love to come home to our goaties who are always happy to see us. |
